UV DigiCoater – the perfect partner for digital printing
The low cost, automated UV DigiCoater is a perfect fit for the local printing industry.
Calling it 'the perfect partner for digital printing' Currie Group's Phillip Rennell is delighted to supply yet another exceptional product from their range of inks and coatings.
“When it comes to enabling customers to protect and add value to their work, quickly and economically, without compromising quality or environmental outcomes, the UV DigiCoater does it better than most,” he said.

A touch screen makes for easy operation and the automatic set up provides relatively maintenance-free operation. “The sheet feeder takes the hard work out of doing a high gloss or matte finish,” said Rennell.
Ron Widdison from Composite Colour Richmond, VIC agrees. The two-roller configuration lets them switch between matte and gloss coating (or primer) in less than a minute. “It's very compact for a UV coater given it will take an A2. The optional automatic feeder gives bigger throughput and it's particularly good for gloss,” he said.
The UV coater provides a high quality coating at a fraction of the cost of laminating. Shane Cupitt, from Photo Create in Glen Innes, NSW, describes it as being even “better than laminate.” PhotoCreate needed to avoid the bulk thickness, memory and curl of cello glazing. “The DigiCoater is so much better. It dries instantly, it's UV resistant and very durable which means we're not scratching it during production,” he said.
The UV DigiCoater from Currie Group offers a high quality textured or coated finish and is a perfect fit with any HP Indigo digital or offset press.
