Perth print and design provider Vanguardgrafx says its newly installed HP Indigo 5000 series Digital Press has been a ‘fantastic’ upgrade for the business.
“We wanted to make sure we could produce sheets as good as anyone and we’re very happy with the results,” said Tony Stapleton, MD, Vanguardgrafx.
The company installed its first Indigo 5000 just two weeks ago and Stapleton says customers have already begun asking for specialised work on the press.
“The colour quality on the Indigo is very good, the finishing sheets have a superior finish, it’s good for composite work, it takes laminate very well and it gives us another 80 sheets a minute in digital capacity. It’s fantastic.”
Stapleton said the installation process was fast and efficient thanks to the support team from Currie Group. “The people from Currie were great to deal with. They’re very supportive and helpful and pleasant and they provide a great backup service.”
Currie Group WA branch manager Adrian Dixon said the HP Indigo gives Vanguardgrafx a quality upgrade that will attract new markets. “The Indigo delivers unmatched digital offset and photo quality. Tony Stapleton is a very progressive businessman and he’s understandably very excited about his company’s prospects for the future,” said Dixon.
