Pre-registrations for next week's Visual Impact wide format expo in Sydney are running some 25 per cent higher than last time out, for the show which sold out of exhibition space two months ago.

Printers going to the three day event next Wednesday through Friday will be able to talk to 108 exhibitors, representing the full gamut of the wide format industry from hardware and media.

Peter Harper, general manager of events and publication at Visual Connections says, “It will be the biggest Visual Impact we have had at Olympic Park. I would encourage all printers to come down and check out the latest developments in wide format printing, which remains a growing market.”

Biggest stand at the show is from Currie Group which will have its mobile showroom truck on t he floor. Platinum sponsor Roland DG has upped its stand space.

Gold sponsors for the event which opens at 10am each day at the Sydney Showground at Olympic Park in Homebush include Graphic Art Mart, Mimaki, Pozitive, HP, Trotec, EuroPoles & Flag Displays, Kissell + Wolf,and Matrix Frame.

There will be Business Breakfasts on each of the three mornings; one hosted by HP Indigo user group Dscoop which has Brendan Cooke, CEO of outdoor media giant speaking, one hosted buy Kellie Northwood of Two Sides, and one by James Scotland from Australian Industry Group on creating a sustainable digital business.
