Starleaton & DES staff will join together to greet customers at the Visual Impact show in Sydney this week - the first trade show since Starleaton acquired its competitor late last month.

The surprise takeover boosted Starleaton Digital Solutions into the top five suppliers to the mainstream graphic arts and commercial printing and signage sectors. The new $40 million Australian and New Zealand supply enterprise will have unique synergies across the commercial printing and photography industries with an unsurpassed range of high-end sign and display equipment and substrates.

Nearly 30 team members from both Starleaton & DES gathered together for the first time at the DES headquarters in Rhodes, NSW last week.

“It was great to have everyone in the one room working together,” says Paul Coniglio, head of innovation, Starleaton. "The synergies between the two businesses is uncanny. There are so many levels that customers from both companies will benefit from, especially in terms of range of products, deep stock levels and the technical experience in both wide format and industrial format. There is no doubt the value to our customer bases will be immense.

"Some of the team members across both businesses had worked together before or new each other from other businesses so at times it felt like a reunion during the conference. The sessions included product training and analysis, strategy, team building and the future direction of the two businesses together."

Starleaton & DES staff will be at Visual Impact at Sydney Showground on stand D16, halls 5 & 6.
