Spicers has won the the award for the best shell scheme stand at the Visual Impact Brisbane 2016 trade show that opened on Thursday. Based on a Spicer's retail store concept the stand revolved around the company's new laser measuring device, Spike.
Spike is a smart laser measurement tool that allows printers to quickly measure signs by capturing the width, height and area of a space - simply by taking a photo on a smartphone or tablet. According to Harry Pagoulatos, marketing & business development manager, Spicers, the show is proving quite successful.
"Look, it's not Sydney or Melbourne, but the people who are coming along are not spectators. They know what they're looking for and they're ready to buy," he said. He expects the second half of the show to be quite busy as people knock off early on Friday and the visitors from the regions come in tomorrow
