Websend lends a helping hand to Adobe

Websend is currently the only ad validating system to support CS3 files and make them easily printable."We ensure that designers who want to use the most current programs are free to do with without ramifications at the newspaper and magazine," explained Peter Lamont, Websend ceo. "We act as a 'buffer' to ensure that both designers and publishers get what they want."

Lamont said that the company was proud to be working with Adobe at an exciting time, following its largest ever software release. "Adobe has always been at the cutting edge of technology and they consistently provide us with challenges to meet their high standards. We're enormously proud of our achievement in supporting CS3, which in turn allows the wider design community to harness its power," he said.

"This achievement is a clear statement of our commitment to provide and enable the best technology the world has to offer and opens the door for designers to work freely with CS3 while ensuring publishers are able to work with the files according to their specifications."

Adobe also echoed similar sentiments, believing that the two companies could work well together. "Support from Websend is critical for our mutual customers in the printing and graphics arts community to ensure a smooth transition into CS3," said Mark Coles, Adobe Systems' Pacific marketing manager. "We are excited that they are able to offer these services in such a short timeframe."
