Website gives low-down on state print awards

Information on changes to state print awards and the National Print Awards is now available from one central location.

Printers can now access the news by visiting the Print Recognition Awards area of the Printing Industries' association's website, www.printnet.com.au

"All the entry due dates, award presentation dates and contact information for each State is available from this one location," said Printing Industries' national communications and technical services manager, Joe Kowalewski.

"Event entry forms, dinner ticket booking information and website links for additional information can be accessed here as soon as they become available.

"We even have some advance dates for 2009 and 2010 events to encourage companies to plan ahead to maximise their award opportunities."

Kowalewski said results and photographs from previous State awards and the National Print Awards were also available from the Print Recognition Awards area.

"It can be very confusing for companies co-ordinating awards in different states to keep up to date with the various events and entry closing dates and to know who they should talk to for assistance or advice," he said.

"Our 'one-stop shop' approach will make finding and managing this information considerably easier for all concerned.

"The site also included an overview of the changes announced earlier this year making the National Print Awards a best-of the-best event with entry only via a Gold Medal win in a corresponding State category."
