Today is International Print Day (IPD) and anyone with a Twitter account can join the hashtag #IPD16.
“IPD’s organizers encourage anyone with an interest in the original communication delivery device to join the planet’s largest conversation about print in all its forms, hosted by regional advocates with the aim of creating greater visibility for this fast-moving technology space,” say the organisers.
The collaborative event began at 9am, Wednesday October 19, AEST (6pm October 18th US EST) and will finish 24 hours later. This year’s theme is #PrintSmart.
Last year, the event's hashtag generated 27 million timeline deliveries in just under 24 hours.
Anybody with a Twitter account can join #IPD16, interacting with interested parties around the world to share their printed work, their favourite piece of print or information about their activities in the print world.
