Well-known industry identity, Mark Wilton takes on high profile international role.

The new role will involve Wilton (pictured) being part of the Creo corporate marketing team promoting one of the key areas of the company’s strategy. NGP continues to attract leading industry players, the latest being Quark, WAVE Corporation, and Olive Inc. With 46 partners now, Networked Graphic Production spans the international print industry with partners that develop creative software, print-publishing, content-management, and management-information systems; build digital asset management systems; and manufacture prepress, printing presses, and post-press finishing systems.

“I’m looking forward to working on this industry-wide initiative. It represents a challenge and a great opportunity to help the industry move towards increased efficiency through the use of automation and CIP4 JDF. It will be busy time but I intend to stay in touch with the many colleagues and friends I’ve made in the Australian industry,” said Wilton.

Currently the marketing manager, Creo Australia & New Zealand, he joined the organization with Media Tech, the Scitex Distributor in 1998. Since then he has been through the corporate changes with the launch of CreoScitex in early 2000 and the re-branding of the company as Creo in 2002.

“NGP continues to grow with new partners who see NGP with its many partners working together, as the best organization to bring JDF integration to market,” said Filip Buyse, Chair of Networked Graphic Production. “By applying the power of JDF through an open, international print industry organization, these partners know they can achieve the goal of bringing to market ROI-based integration to our common customers.”
