Adriano Gut will leave the close-kit team at Positive Camtec before the end of the year. After five years with the local wide-format machinery and consumables supplier, Gut heads home for a white Christmas in his native Switzerland.
Gut (pictured) should be well-prepared for his next role, as he moves on to take up a position on the sales team for UV flatbed printer manufacturer swissQprint. Positive Camtec has handled exclusive local distribution for swissQprint since 2012, with Gut overseeing all details of the product line as sales and marketing manager. Gut begins his new role in February next year.
Phil Trumble, Positive Camtec managing director, said in a statement: "Adriano has been an instrumental part of our team at Positive Camtec and we would like to formally thank him for experience, drive and passion he has offered since joining us in 2008."
Trumble goes on to praise Gut for his contributions to the business over the years.
"We wish Adriano and his family all the very best in all their future endeavours and look forward to welcoming him back to our shores representing swissQprint in his new role," he said.
A successor has not yet been named, and for the present time Gut's duties will be distributed internally among the Positive Camtec team. Following the set-up of a new ERP system, the team anticipates no disruption to daily business.
