Four years at Océ Canon HQ in Venlo, Netherlands, as International Business Development manager gave Paul Whitehead a unique perspective on the changes taking place in the company.
He is now back in Australia to take on the role of Marketing Manager Production Print for Canon, part of the new team under Mike Boyle. "I'm very happy to be back. I left as an Océ employee and now I'm excited to be part of an even bigger organisation with a larger breadth of products for the industry," he said.
Originally from Melbourne, Paul will join the team at Canon HQ in Sydney's North Ryde office.
Long-term managing director, since 1995, has retired as at the end of March. He is replaced by seasoned company man, Michael Bartlett.
The change of the guard comes against the backdrop of the merger between Offset Alpine’s owner, IPMG and Blue Star, that is likely to see major changes in roles and personnel throughout the groups. Kinninmont was recognised as the architect of the company’s unique position as a high-end, award-winning web and sheetfed company.
In the fiercely competitive market Offset Alpine retained its own profile and industry presence as the leading winner of National Print Awards.
