The Roland DG local leadership team sees another slight rejig, with general manager John Wall promoted to president of Roland DG Australia. Marc Margetts, who continues in his role as Australian CEO, also gets a leg-up as he is named president of the Asia-Pacific region.

This continues the upper management refinements announced last year, when Wall made the move up from sales director to general manager. This latest reshuffle is part of Roland DG’s GlobalOne plan to strengthen its regional management structure worldwide. Also part of the move, Michael Man was named president of Roland DG China. According to Dave Goward, Roland DG executive director, Wall and Margett’s new titles and responsibilities better reflect the dynamics of the market.

“Asia-Pacific represents one of the fastest growing regions for expanding our business. With their strong knowledge of Asian markets, I am confident in the abilities of Marc, John and Michael to guide our efforts there,” said Goward.

Margetts has been with the business since 1991, working his way up to the top job in 2008. Late last year he took on a more global perspective, adding management responsibility for distribution in the South East Asian sector.

Wall joined Roland DG Australia in 2004, serving as marketing manager and sales director before stepping up as general manager in 2013.
