Spandex shores up its position as a market leader in WA sign and display, welcoming on board two new wide-format specialists to expand its breadth and depth of service to this firmly valued market. Mike Bancroft and Neville Linton join the team as area sales managers, bringing between them more than 45 years of hands-on industry experience.
The new additions bolster Spandex's ongoing efforts to strengthen its market presence, particularly in the west, not long following the publicised buy-up of Qualsign in WA. With its local product suite on the up, Russell Barnes, market manager western region for Spandex, extends a warm welcome to the two men who will oversee this important region.
- Best in the west - Mike Bancroft and Neville Linton
Alex McClelland, Spandex managing director, said, "I join Russell in welcoming Mike and Neville to the Spandex team. We have invested heavily in the WA market with the recent aquistion of Qualsign and now these two new team members and we look forward to becoming the preferred supply partner for the west's signage and display production community."
The two will overlap in metropolitan areas, with Bancroft covering southern WA from the Swan River down to Esperence and Linton taking on the northern region up to Broome and Derby.
Mike Bancroft makes the move following successful spells with PaperlinX subsidiary Dalton and wide-format supplier Starleaton. Bancroft arrived in Perth from the UK in 2006, having worked for another PaperlinX subsidiary, Robert Horne, and global paper merchant Antalis in a career spanning 23 years. He is married with three children, and is a keen follower of Manchester City FC.
Neville Linton brings a strong knowledge-base of the region from a 25 year stint as an account manager with Anitech in WA. Before that, he was with Spicers Paper, and he committed to building long-term customer relationships.
