Epson WorkForce Pro RIPS to solve print problems for Kayell customers who want to produce a wide range of products on a single printer.

According to Andreas Johansson, sales director, the company was looking for printers for various industry verticals that could produce such diverse products as envelopes and labels on the same device. Epson has now appointed it as an authorised dealer for its WorkForce Pro Replaceable Ink Pack System (RIPS).

“Epson has combined the ability to cover general colour print requirements while having the added bonus of utilising specific media stock to deliver perfect customer facing documentation and imagery. Additionally, this printer is ideal as a proofing solution, to centralise all printing to a single device at lowest cost. As a result Epson and its RIPS printers are now an important part of Kayell’s technology solution,” said Johansson.

The WorkForce Pro RIPS is a new way for small to medium size businesses to cut costs and improve efficiencies when it comes to colour printing. The new WorkForce Pro R5000 series and R8000 series multi-function and single function printers can deliver up to 75,000 printed pages in both black and colour before the ink needs to be replaced. This produces high impact colour documents with low operating costs and minimal maintenance.

Consumable cost per page can be up to 80% cheaper than equivalent lasers while the low power consumption associated with Epson’s Micro Piezo inkjet technology saves up to 70% in power usage.

WorkForce Pro RIPS printers are also equipped with Epson’s award winning, high density resin coated pigment ink – DURABrite Pro. This new four colour (CMYK) ink set is water and smudge resistant and produces ultra sharp detail and vibrant coloured graphics on plain and specialty papers including semi-gloss, gloss and double sided matte up to 256gsm.
