Franchise business Worldwide Printing Solutions has installed the Fuji Xerox web-to-print technology XMPie at its 44 print centres located in WA, SA, NSW, VIC and QLD.
"After extensive research, we chose XMPie solutions because it was clearly the most capable software available and could be fully integrated into our other systems due to its open architecture,” said Rob Dallimore, MD, Worldwide Printing Solutions.
"This will enable us to create a unique offering in the market place due to the ability to not only manage print ordering for our clients but also offer them an entire suite of products and services all through the one portal. Our partners in XMPie and Fuji Xerox Australia, which provided us with the tools and support programs to turn this idea into a reality, have been excellent to work with, considering the many national training workshops and system customisations. Their support and expertise has been and will be significant in our ongoing success.” said Dallimore.
The fact that the XMPie solution was fully backed and supported by Fuji Xerox Australia, the Worldwide group’s largest current equipment supplier, was a key element in the decision, he said.
The XMPie web-based offering manages purchasing print online and extends the solution through to several other mediums through one portal. With its new smart technology, franchisees will now be able to provide customers with the tools to create integrated and personalised digital marketing campaigns with online catalogues using customer templates, as well as direct marketing campaigns that include personalised print, email and SMS.
The new system also saves franchisees time by being integrated into their existing MIS system, Quote and Print, said Dallimore. Fuji Xerox Australia and Quote and Print worked together to connect the two systems and eliminate double order entry requirements.
Adam Fittler, national sales manager, Fuji Xerox Australia, worked closely with Worldwide Printing Solutions over the past three years to ensure the product was built to their needs. “The new online system for Worldwide Printing Solutions allows for a wider range of business to be done online, making it easier for customers to fulfil their marketing needs, not just print alone," he said.
