Wot’s on this week . . . industry events . . . don’t miss it . . . dates for your diary

Happy New Year! Christmas and New Year are now behind us, but the silly season isn’t. With no industry activities on the calendar, there are still plenty of things to keep you busy.

The Arts. There are summer festivals, arts, music and theatre around the country at the moment. Check your local guides for information.

The Beach. Sure to be plenty of action on all coastal towns around the country with the hot weather calling for plenty of sun, surf and sand. Make sure you remember to slip, slop, slap!

The Sporting Arena. Both international and domestic cricket currently holds the spotlight with a few matches on next week. The Australian Open has Melbourne packed, the basketball season is half way through and for football fans the A-League is quickly approaching finals.

The Emails. For those of us who don’t have the pleasure of still being on leave, without a doubt there are a few hundred emails received during your holidays just waiting for your attention!
