DRUPA VIDEO DAY 6: KURZ

Kurz has its biggest-ever stand at this drupa, in fact 50 per cent bigger than last time, and is showing the full range of its embellishing options, including foils, dies and digital embellishing systems.

It is also launching Dream Composer, which is essentially a system to mock-up the look of embellishments on a product.

The new embossing dies come from its sister company H+M, while digital embellishment is with its DM Maxliner 3D system, manufactured by Steinemann, which Kurz claims is the biggest, fastest machine in this segment. Another new feature from Kurz is Validate, which is a way of inserting hidden information into small labels.

On the Kurz stand Christophe Dujardin outlines the new developments to Print21 editor Wayne Robinson, and says why they are important for print businesses looking to supply added value solutions.
