National business ABC Photo Signs has ordered a new EFI Pro 32r+ from local supplier Currie Group, with the new printer set to arrive in time for the spring real estate season.

The new EFI Pro 32r+ is the first EFI printer to go into ABC, which has production facilities in every state, it will go to the company’s Melbourne production centre.

Joel Fisher, director of the 30-year-old business, which operates mainly in the real estate market, said, “It ticked all the boxes. We will use it to print PVC banners. It is our first EFI, we needed a robust machine, it will be running constantly.”

The EFI Pro 32r+ is the new 3.2m wide hybrid printer, which prints at up to 256sqm per hour in CMYK, plus optional white ink or optional clear ink.

It uses 7 pL UltraDrop Technology for high-definition print quality, printing at  up to 847dpi. The LED delivers lower power consumption, and enables the use of thinner substrates. Inks are EFI - 3M SuperRange XF inks with 3M MCS Warranty, including white.
