Airpurity film prevents Covid-19 transmission
The printable Airpurity anti-microbial textured film, launched by Ball & Doggett last year, has now had testing that shows it prevents transmission of Covid-19.
The results mean that Airpurity is now certified as a material that kills and stops the spread of germs, bacteria and viruses, including Covid-19, immediately after someone touches Airpurity, therefore preventing the transmission to another person.
Ball & Doggett is now launching a ready-to-print range of Airpurity templates, purposely created to suite a variety of applications around the community.
They include shopping trolley handles, door handles, phone covers, dining/food court mats, retail counter tops, posters and desk pads. There is a variety of designs to choose from.
Airpurity is a direct printable media for UV, Eco-Solvent, Solvent and Latex technologies, allowing the end-user to have any design fit for their purposes.

A US lab and a lab in Silverwater tested for the human Coronavirus strain 229E and the murine Hepatitis strain, both of which are listed by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) as surrogate viruses for the use in disinfectant efficacy tests to justify claims against Covid-19.
Ball & Doggett says this accreditation places Airpurity as the complete package for hygienic and antimicrobial film by offering anti-viral (JIS Z 2801 | ATCC VR 740) and anti-bacterial (ISO 22196 | JIS Z 2801:2010) qualification - killing viruses, germs and bacteria immediately, sterilising hands on impact/touch with Airpurity.
