Ball & Doggett and Avery Dennison will run wrapping workshops in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with a different emphasis in the different locations.

The companies will host Advance Vehicle Wrapping, Fleet and Auto Aftermarket Workshops for Sydney and Melbourne, and an Essential Walls, Windows and Vehicle Application Technique workshop in Brisbane.

The workshops aim to provide industry professionals with valuable insights and hands-on experience across vehicle graphics and wraps and essential application technique. The courses are designed to ensure participants understand all of the variables involved with this critical application, and have the confidence to provide customers with a sound, professional and durable solution that looks great.

The series kicks off with the Sydney workshop, being held on Wednesday 16 August at Sydney Motor Sport Park, Eastern Creek in Sydney. The Melbourne event takes place on Friday 22nd September at Supercar Team 18 Racing Head office, Mt Waverly in Melbourne. Brisbane’s turn comes on Thursday 5 October at Ball & Doggett’s Brendale office.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in engaging sessions led by Avery Dennison industry experts, who will share their extensive knowledge and practical expertise. The Advance Vehicle Wrapping, Fleet and Auto Aftermarket workshops will feature interactive demonstrations and discussions covering topics such as introduction, and product overview and selection, conversion and production, cleaning and preparation, differences between fleet and auto aftermarket (advance wrap course only), application techniques and procedures, passenger vehicle (compound curves) and commercial van – deep window recess (advance wrap course only).

There will be plenty of opportunities for participants to be hands on, and practice and more practice.

To support the Queensland market, Ball & Doggett and Avery Dennison will host an essential walls, windows and vehicle application workshop on Thursday 5 October. This workshop will provide an overview and hands on approach to understanding the different types of application surfaces including walls – gyprock, painted, flute boards, ACP, windows, and the fundamentals for vehicle wrapping. Selecting the right adhesive for the right job is key.
