EPSON EXPANDS DESKTOP UV RANGE
Epson has expanded its UV desktop printer lineup with the launch of its new SureColor V2060, an A3 UV flatbed desktop printer designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, on-demand customisation.
The V2060 will make its Australian debut on Epson stand C48 at PacPrint.
Specifically designed for producing bespoke merchandise, promotional products, and small-format signage Epson says the SC-V2060 brings professional grade UV printing into compact spaces, to a wide range of users, with ease.
The V2060 prints directly onto a range of materials, including acrylic, metal, wood and canvas and says Epson, delivers “exceptional image quality, accurate colour reproduction and crisp, detailed text.”
As it supports media up to 420 x 297mm (A3 size) and up to 70mm in thickness, it offers flexibility for a variety of creative and commercial applications.
The SC-V2060 uses UltraChrome UV ink, featuring a 10-colour ink set that includes grey, red, white and varnish. According to Epson, the expanded gamut and smooth tonal gradation enable “stunning print results with vivid colour depth and minimal graininess.” White ink and varnish can be applied as spot colours, or layered for visual effects, enhancing both image impact and surface finish.
Epson says its replaceable 140 ml ink packs help streamline its operation and maintenance, minimise waste and ensure consistent productivity from setup to output.
Designed for space-conscious environments, the SC-V2060 has a compact footprint with a built-in air filtration system. Its minimal rear clearance requirement allows it to be placed against a wall, making it ideal for environments where space is at a premium.
Epson Australia’s product manager for Professional Print Solutions Division, Shuhei Sato said, “The SC-V2060 furthers Epson’s commitment to innovation in the UV printing space. It offers significant creative potential in a compact, user-friendly format that is designed to fit seamlessly into a wide range of business environments.”
The V2060 has an intuitive 4.3-inch touchscreen operation panel and a fully automated cleaning system, both of which help reduce downtime and increase productivity.
The new SureColor V2060 A3 UV flatbed desktop printer is expected to ship in Australia and New Zealand in the latter part of this year.
