MIMAKI TO UNVEIL THREE NEW PRINTERS
Mimaki will launch a trio of new print systems under its Something New, Something Different theme at the upcoming PacPrint expo, with the launch date unusually the same as that for the rest of the world.

Traditionally, new Mimaki products have launched first in the US and Europe, with a delay of three to four months before becoming available in Australia. This year marks a significant change. For the first time, Australian customers will have the opportunity to experience the same cutting-edge innovations unveiled at ISA and Fespa, at PacPrint.
Included in the new launches is Mimaki’s first UV-curable Direct-to-Film (UV-DTF) printer, the UV DTF Printer - UJV300DTF-75. Building on the global success of its DTF technology, with 2,500 units sold since 2023, this model combines Mimaki’s maintenance-free platform with 20 years of UV printing expertise. It features a new pinch roller for improved precision and uses SVHC-free UV ink, aligning with strict EU environmental standards and, says Mimaki, setting a new benchmark for safe, high-quality DTF production. It will be available from July.

Also new is the JV200-160, an entry-level printer powered by the same high-performance engine used in the 330 series. As a sibling to the CJV200 Print & Cut series, which debuted in Australia this January, Mimaki says the JV200 delivers intuitive operation and consistently professional output, it is aimed at businesses seeking quality with simplicity. It will be available from June.
Finally, among the new printers, the 1.8M Hybrid Textile Inkjet Printer Tx330-1800 is described by Mimaki as next-generation textile printer. It builds on the legacy of the Tx300-1800, with enhanced productivity and print quality. It incorporates Mimaki’s latest 330-series engine and supports BlueSign-approved TP410 pigment ink, making it suited for both educational settings and industrial textile production. It will be available in June.

In addition, Mimaki’s SS21 solvent ink, promoted for its rich colour and durability, has just been officially certified by the 3M MCS Warranty. This first-ever certification for Mimaki’s solvent range strengthens its value, particularly in vehicle wrap applications where the JV330/CJV330 and SS21 are already used by brands like Brad Jones Racing. It is available as of now.
