Plans are currently underway to combine both Spicers Australia and Spandex Australia into a single integrated business, with implementation expected on or around Monday 5 October 2026.

Customers will continue to be supported by their existing teams throughout the transition period, with the integration carefully managed to ensure continuity of service.

Since April, we have taken the time to carefully assess the best way to position the business for long-term success,” explained Darren Milligan, executive general manager of Spicers Australia.

“What has become clear is that together we are stronger than either business would be independently.

“Bringing our businesses together will simplify how customers engage with us, while strengthening our ability to support them. Customers will benefit from easier access to a broader portfolio of leading brands, deeper technical expertise, and enhanced service and support.”

The integration will require organisational changes, resulting in a number of roles transitioning out of the business. Spicers Australia remains committed to consulting with and supporting all affected employees throughout the process.

Both businesses will continue to operate as normal through to early October, when the combined Sign & Display business will be formally established under the leadership of Ben Clarke, general manager of Spandex Australia.

Further updates will be provided closer to the integration date.
