Print21 is launching the print industry podcast – The Print Files – to provide inspiration and insight to the owners and managers of all types of print businesses across ANZ. The first episode – It's Been A Big Month In Print – will be launched on Monday afternoon.

The embattled printed newspaper industry has been hit by another blow, with the Queensland government axeing compulsory newspaper advertising in regional papers by its departments, sending it online instead, costing regional papers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Now that Australians are able to get together again in person, the Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA) is planning an industry gathering for printers to reconnect, at the Carnarvon Golf Club in Lidcombe, NSW, on Wednesday 21 April.

As print businesses across flood-affected regions of New South Wales and Queensland start to assess damage over the next few days, supplier association Visual Connections has reminded owners that the industry’s suppliers stand ready to offer support.
