DocuFold Pro folds faster than original

Adopting SmartScreen technology throughout its post-press product range, Morgana Australia updates its small format-folding device to DocuFold Pro.

Originally introduced to the market in 1994, DocuFold was the first small format-folding device to offer an automated set-up solution. In the updated Pro version all job parameters can be entered and stored for future use, with common sizes and fold patterns pre-installed in system memory.

Andy Cooper, general manager for Morgana Australia says its essentially a two plate-folding machine suitable for any small print shops or instant franchises, and “as no skill set is required anybody will be able to use this machine. 4

“DocuFold Pro provides for higher volume folding, in larger sizes, at higher speeds, with an even easier and faster set-up. We have added the new SmartScreen technology to the DocuFold Pro in order to improve operational efficiency and make the machine easier to learn and use.”

New features include a Proof Fold Button that sends three sheets of the job through for a final check of the job before production.

DocuFold Pro offers an on-the-run micro adjustment for any fine-tuning of the fold, and a perforating option is included as standard. Batch count and total job count are available and highly visible to the user.
