Dscoop Asia conference for the digital print networker
Catering to wide variety of print interests, the upcoming 2nd Dscoop Asia conference will cover business and operations, large format, labels and packaging, direct marketing and social media over two days.
According to David Minnett, managing director Group Momentum and Dscoop APJ Australian representative, a good contingent of HP Indigo and Scitex customers from Australian and New Zealand are already on board for the conference in Singapore next month.
“Dscoop will be a fantastic networking event drawing people from all over APJ with a number of speakers from the USA, UK, Germany and Asia presenting on topics important to those within the industry.
Over 1,200 delegates attended the inaugural Korean event last year and Dscoop is expecting Singapore attendance to eclipse those figures.

“As the Dscoop user group community continues to grow throughout the world it is taking on a life of its own as people continue to hear about the benefits of being involved with Dscoop and the sharing of ideas and information, it is really quite a unique forum,” he adds.
Conference speakers most likely to resonate with ANZ customers include:
- James Lafferty, CEO of Coca-Cola Africa
- Chris Thomas – Chairman Proximity Worldwide & BBDO CEO APAC
- Brendon Cook, founder and CEO of OOH! Media Australia
- Whitehouse Custom Colors (USA) - 15 indigo User!
- Dennis Khoo, Head of Consumer Banking - Standard Chartered Bank
After the two-day event attendees will also have the opportunity to visit HP Indigo users in Singapore covering all market segments and applications, though limited seats are available.
The site visits are planned for 22 and 24 August to JCS Digital Solutions, DigiPrint, Instant, COS, Prestige, Winson and Honsen.
Dedicated training topics for HP Indigo users include:
- Marketing Digital Print (presented in four languages)
- Social Media
- Cost Management
- Presentation Skills
Phillip Rennell, sales and marketing director at Currie Group believes the networking opportunities from the event have already had a positive impact for it’s customers and the line up of speakers will be “very informative for Indigo customers who want to drive their business forward.”
