Entries open for 2011 PIXI Awards
Submissions are now open for the fourth annual PIXI (Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging) Awards, with three additional categories.
The PIXI award program is open to printers using Fuji Xerox solutions from thirteen nations in the APAC region. The awards are being presented at Fuji Xerox’s Innovate Conference held in Melbourne on 30 November.
Mike Braggins, regional manager for Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific says this competition “gives us an opportunity to see the work our customers produce day after day. I continue to be amazed every year not only by the exceptional quality of the work but also the innovative ways our customers’ use our solutions.
Award categories cover a range of applications and participants can submit multiple entries per category:
- Books and Manuals
- Brochures and catalogues
- Leaflets, Flyers
- Posters & Point of Sale material
- Calendars and Photo Books
- Multi-piece Production
- Cards & Invitations
- TransPromo
New categories for the 2011 awards include:
- Direct Mail
- Digital Packaging
- Self-promotion
Fuji Xerox will also recognise works that reflect environmental processes and the best combined use of Digital and Offset printing.
Brett Maishman, national commercial print business manager says Australian clients have been incredibly successful with their entries over the past few years, “with six taking out 1st or 2nd prize in a variety of categories in 2010.”
The PIXI Awards not only present an opportunity for those who have an eye for digital print but it can also drive the evolution of digital technology.
