Prografica adds new offset jewel to its crown
Purchase of Crown and Anchor printing business gives Prografica scope to expand its offset services.
According to Kerim El Gabaili, (pictured) CEO of the Prografica Group, the acquisition is the latest in the company’s push for strategic growth.
“We bought Crown and Anchor for its equipment – which includes a 5-colour Komori and the client base. Crown and Anchor is an award-winning company with a 40-year history and it also gives us a chance to enhance our offset capabilities,” he said.
Thanks to the acquisition, Kerim has already noticed a number of positive changes to Prografica. “Our turnover has gone up and we now have the ability to do a lot more work in-house,” he said.
Earlier this year, Prografica purchased web development business Seeclear. Kerim added that there will be more acquisitions to come for the progressive company, though they are not likely to be in the realm of printing.
“We are now in negotiations with another two companies – there will be more acquisitions before the year is over,” he said.
