Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Qualified PrePress and Wide Format Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the prepress and wide format printing operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality printed materials.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the prepress department, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of prepress services.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to prepress and wide format printing processes.
- Maintain and calibrate prepress equipment to ensure optimal performance and print quality.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for prepress and wide format printing operations.
- Train and mentor staff members on prepress techniques, software applications, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in prepress and wide format printing technologies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in prepress and wide format printing operations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard prepress software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as RIP software for wide format printing.
- Strong understanding of colour management, image resolution, and file preparation for print.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing a team of prepress and printing professionals.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
