The biggest story in the print industry this week was Print21's news that PVCA CEO Andrew Macaulay was moving on, after five years at the helm of the employers' association.

Macaulay said he has "achieved everything he set out to", and is leaving with the 140-year-old association modernised and focused on providing member services, having a clear voice in Canberra, and pushing forward on strategic issues.

The second biggest story of the week was the Print21 report on Melbourne outfit Arlo + Coop investing in two new Zund robot cutting lines for its two-year-old online short-run on-demand custom box business.

Coming in at number three for the week was the Print21 news that visual merchandisong outfit, Dashing Group, was investing in a new EFI Pro 32r+ rol-to-roll printer, the same printer that will be on displat at the Cuirrie Group Open house week from 12-16 April.
